Surroundings of the Barcelona guesthouse
Are you looking for a place for accommodation by the sea that meets your expectations in terms of recreational attractions and pet-friendly options? Are you also interested in a flexible menu, including options tailored to vegans and vegetarians? Here is a proposal for you – a cozy guesthouse located in the charming town of Mikoszewo.
Natural Heritage
Mikoszewo is one of the most beautiful and interesting towns on the Vistula Spit. Surrounded by the waters of the Vistula, Szkarpawa, and the Baltic Sea, it is almost like an island. Clean beaches, safe sea bathing areas, foot-friendly sand, healthy, iodine-rich air, mixed forest — these are just some of the advantages of Mikoszewo's wonderful microclimate. A strip of green forest borders directly on the sandy beach.
Recreational attractions in the area
Mikoszewo offers many attractions for those looking for active recreation. We have bike paths (with bike rental available), a beach volleyball court, and an outdoor gym. Thanks to this, both young and older guests can enjoy the charms of this seaside town and spend time actively.
Mikoszewo — the jewel of the Vistula Spit
Mikoszewo is one of the most beautiful places on the Vistula Spit, surrounded by the waters of the Vistula, Szkarpawa, and the Baltic Sea. Clean beaches, safe sea bathing areas, soft sand, and healthy air make this place enchanting with its nature and microclimate. The property is located within the buffer zone of the "Mewia Łacha" Nature Reserve, ensuring close contact with wild animals like roe deer and deer, as well as birds.
The amber treasure of the Baltic
The town is also famous for amber — the treasure of the Baltic. Walking along the beach, especially after a storm, you can find real specimens of this beautiful stone. This is an additional advantage of this unique town, making organizing a wedding in such a place even more charming.
Cultural heritage
The features of the Żuławy part of the "Vistula Spit" Park buffer zone have developed through centuries of historical evolution. Thanks to the activities of Dutch settlers in the 17th, 18th, and even 19th centuries, unique architectural monuments are found here - arcaded houses, Dutch farms, windmills, mills, and "pump windmills." The most buildings remain in Drewnica and Żuławki, including the most famous – the "kozlak" windmill from 1718 and the neo-Gothic church of the Blessed Virgin Mary from 1841.
A great Żuławy natural and cultural curiosity are also the Mennonite and Evangelical cemeteries. Their greatest value lies in the tombstones. They also constitute characteristic dominant features of the beautiful and rich tree stand in the Żuławy Vistula Landscape.
